I’m Elise Holcombe, founder of BodyIQ in Portland, Oregon.

I’ve been a Registered Nurse for 25 years, with a career in pharmaceutical research helping develop new drugs and medical devices.

Alongside my medical career, I’ve pursued another passion—bodybuilding and powerlifting. As a drug-free athlete, I searched for natural, science-backed ways to improve performance and discovered a wide field of effective, evidence-based options.

That exploration deepened my commitment to helping people take control of their health in meaningful, sustainable ways. For years, I looked for the right approach—something practical, accessible, and proven.

When I discovered REMS technology and saw how it could provide early, radiation-free insights into bone health, I knew I’d found it. BodyIQ was created to make this powerful tool available to the Portland community—because everyone deserves strong bones and the confidence that comes with them.
